Empowering the health and well-being of young people in a safe, youth friendly environment

 

 

Number 10 Southland Youth One Stop Shop opened its doors in 2008 to respond to the needs of young people in Southland.  We offer services to young people aged 10-24 years. Using a strengths based approach we empower the health and wellbeing of young people in a safe, youth-friendly environment. 

 

Programming at Number 10 is inspired by the Te Whare Tapa Wha model of health that promotes physical, mental, spiritual and whanau/family well being. In line with the Youth Development Strategy Aotearoa, we provide opportunities young people to build the skills and develop the relationships they will use on their lifelong journey.

 

Number 10 is an approved social services provider by the Ministry of Social Development and receives financial support from the Oranga Tamariki Ministry for Children, WellSouth, Ministry for Youth Development and many other generous donors.

 

 

To participate in Number 10 programming, the first step is to come by, talk to our friendly staff, and fill out a registration form, either in person or online.  It only takes a few minutes; we look forward to meeting you.
